New operations manager for Campus BLÅ course department
Campus Blå has hired Olav Skogmo as a new instructor with operational responsibility in the course department. Skogmo will lead and develop the course content and ensure that the courses are run in the best possible way. -"I've been hired as an instructor on a few courses in the past and find it very interesting to work with young people and schools," he says: - "I like both the people and the environment at Toft, and I'm looking forward to starting on 8 April.
It's full speed ahead for Olav, because on his first day in his new job he'll be leading the three-week course D6, deck officer class 6 - or master on service vessels.
Olav Skogmo comes to Campus BLÅ from Torghatten AS and brings with him a long career at sea. Since 2015 he has been captain of MF Torghatten, and from 1999 to 2008 he was master of the speedboat Vegtind. In the intervening years, he worked offshore on a supply boat in the North Sea.

With his long experience from the sea, we are confident that he will do an excellent job of maintaining and developing the quality of our courses," says Halsen.
Olav Skogmo takes over the job of operations manager from Johan Ormøy, who is retiring.
